Doğal Gülümseme Estetiğinde Maksiller Anterior Diş Boyut ve Oranları İle İlgili Teoriler

Özet

Doğal gülümseme estetiği tasarlanırken doğayı taklit etmek esas olup, diş hekimlerine rehberlik etmesi amacıyla matematiksel ilişkilere dayanan Altın Oran (1.618:1.0), Preston Oranı, interkanin genişliği temel alan Altın Yüzde ve esneklik sunan Tekrarlayan Estetik Dental Oran (RED) gibi çeşitli formüller geliştirilmiştir. Ayrıca Chu'nun renk kodlu Gauge Oranı, Plato ve insan normu oranları da literatürde yer almaktadır. Yapılan klinik çalışmalar, bu geometrik oranların popülasyonlar arasında mutlak doğrulukta olmadığını ve kişilerin diş uzunluklarına göre tedavi tercihlerinin değiştiğini göstermektedir. Estetik yapıyı belirleyen diğer kritik faktör olan gülümseme hattı ise üst ve alt dudakların dişlerle olan vertikal uyumu ve eğriliği ile açıklanmakta, cinsiyete göre yapısal farklılıklar sergilemektedir. Gülüş tasarımı öncesinde doğru analiz için statik fotoğraf kayıtlarının yanı sıra, dijital videografi gibi ileri düzey dinamik yöntemlerden yararlanılmaktadır. Sonuç olarak, matematiksel standartlar diş hekimliğinde önemli sanatsal kılavuzlar sağlasa da estetik algısının kişiden kişiye, kültürden kültüre değiştiği unutulmamalı ve her hastanın kendine özgü dentofasiyal özellikleri doğrultusunda bireysel bir tedavi planlaması yapılmalıdır.

Designing natural smile aesthetics is fundamentally based on mimicking nature, and various formulas grounded in mathematical relationships, such as the Golden Proportion (1.618:1.0), Preston Proportion, Golden Percentage based on intercanine width, and the Recurring Esthetic Dental Proportion (RED) which offers flexibility, have been developed to guide dentists. Additionally, Chu's color-coded Gauge Proportion, Plato, and human norm proportions are present in the literature. Clinical studies demonstrate that these geometric proportions are not absolutely accurate across all populations and that treatment preferences vary depending on the tooth length of individuals. Another critical factor determining the aesthetic structure, the smile line, is explained by the vertical harmony and curvature of the upper and lower lips with the teeth, exhibiting structural differences based on gender. For an accurate analysis prior to smile design, advanced dynamic methods such as digital videography are utilized in addition to static photographic records. Consequently, although mathematical standards provide important artistic guidelines in dentistry, it must be remembered that the perception of aesthetics varies from person to person and culture to culture, and individualized treatment planning should be performed in accordance with each patient's unique dentofacial characteristics.
