This study aims to examine the effect of a six-week dry-land training program on Functional Movement Screen (FMS) test scores among 20 female university students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Yozgat Bozok University who regularly attend swimming classes two days a week. Conducted with a pre-test and post-test experimental design, the participants were divided into experimental and control groups. In addition to routine swimming classes, the experimental group completed a dry-land training program consisting of ten different exercises aimed at developing biomotor abilities such as strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, whereas the control group only attended regular swimming classes. In the analysis of data obtained after the six-week period, a statistically significant increase was observed in the experimental group's post-test scores for deep squat, trunk stability push-up, and total FMS score compared to their pre-test scores. When comparing post-test values between groups, the experimental group achieved significantly higher scores in trunk stability push-up and total FMS score than the control group. Furthermore, total FMS scores for all participants remained above the critical threshold of 14 points, indicating a low risk of injury. In conclusion, integrating dry-land training into pool sessions helps correct movement asymmetries, facilitates learning proper movement patterns, and enhances swimming performance.
