Aşı Kararsızlığı
Özet
Aşılama ile aşı ile önlenebilir hastalık nedeniyle oluşan çok sayıda ölüm engellenmektedir. Ancak ülkemizde ve dünyada hiç aşılanmamış çocuk sayısı ve eksik aşılı çocuk sayısı gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada aşı kararsızlığı nedenleri, aşı kararsızlığında rol alan faktörler ve bu konuda yapılan çalışmaları incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Aşı kararsızlığı pek çok sosyokültürel ve bireysel faktörlerden etkilenmekle birlikte çeşitli çalışmalarda kullanılan farklı ölçüm metotları ile bu oranın % 10.5- 62.3 oranları arasında olduğu görülmüştür. Aşı kararsızlığı yaşayan bireylerin bu davranışını toplum liderleri, sağlık çalışanlarının tutumu ve bilgilendirmeleri, sosyal medya, toplumun bakış açısı yan etkileri çeşitli faktörler etkilemektedir.
Vaccination prevents many deaths due to vaccine-preventable diseases. However, the number of children who have never been vaccinated and the number of under-vaccinated children is increasing day by day in our country and in the world. The aim of this study was to examine the causes of vaccine hesitancy, the factors that play a role in vaccine hesitancy and the studies conducted on this issue. Although vaccine hesitancy is affected by many sociocultural and individual factors, it has been found to range between 10.5-62.3% with different measurement methods used in various studies. This behavior of individuals with vaccine ambivalence is influenced by various factors such as community leaders, attitudes and information provided by healthcare professionals, social media, society's perspective and side effects.
