Çocuklarda Soğuk Algınlığına Yaklaşım
Özet
Soğuk algınlığı, genellikle kendiliğinden iyileşen, üst solunum yollarını etkileyen bir enfeksiyondur. Çocuklarda en sık görülen enfeksiyonlardan biridir. Hapşırma, burun tıkanıklığı ve burnun akması (rinore), boğaz ağrısı, öksürük, hafif ateş, baş ağrısı ve halsizlik gibi belirtiler ile kendini gösterir. Etyolojide birçok virüs yer almakla birlikte en sık etkeni rinovirüs oluşturmaktadır. Sıklıkla ilk bahar ve sonbahar aylarında görülmesine rağmen yılın her ayında rastlanabilmektedir. Bulaş yolu esas olarak damlacık yolu iledir. Soğuk algınlığına özel bir tedavi bulunmamaktadır. Soğuk algının tedavisinin temelini destekleyici tedavi oluşturmaktadır. Şikayetlerinin beklenen süreden daha uzun sürmesi ve farklılaşması halinde altta yatan başka bir durum veya eşlik eden bakteriyel enfeksiyon akılda tutulmalıdır.
