Özet

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between physical activity participation, social capital, and physical self-perceptions among adolescents. The research was conducted on 500 adolescents aged 15-18 in Turkey. Data on physical activity participation, social capital, and physical self-perceptions were collected through surveys. The findings showed a positive relationship between physical activity participation and social capital as well as physical self-perceptions. Additionally, it was found that social capital has a positive impact on physical self-perceptions. These results indicate that physical activity participation among adolescents can enhance social connections and contribute to positive physical self-perceptions. This study provides an important foundation for promoting adolescents' participation in physical activity and enhancing their social capital.
